What I learned this Samhain about Ancestors veneration & contact:
You shall not close the portal until the ritual/ceremony is concluded.
You shall not retrieve the vessel you offered to your ancestors until the ritual/ceremony is concluded.
Inadvertently I did both - closed the portal and retrieved the vessel.
The results? Ancestors floating all around me, with no place to stay or to go.
It took a while to figure out what was happening! My sincere apologies, dear ancestors!

Você não deve fechar o portal ANTES da cerimônia/ritual estar concluído!
Você não deve recolher o receptáculo que ofereceu aos ancestrais ANTES da cerimônia/ritual estar concluído!
Os resultados?
Ancestrais flutuando à minha volta, sem ter para onde ir ou onde ficar!
